Questions people usually ask before getting in touch.
If something isn't answered here, find out more about Victoria or take the scorecard — that's a great place to start.
Is this menopause coaching?⌄
No — and that distinction matters. Menopause is treated here as a performance context, not an identity.
If hormonal changes are affecting your thinking, energy, confidence, or decision-making, we factor that in practically and design around it. But the work is always about leadership capability, agency, and credible progression — not about your health status.
Is this therapy?⌄
No. This is executive-level coaching — strategic, future-focused, and entirely confidential.
We deal in clarity, direction, and practical action. If something emerges that would be better addressed therapeutically, I'll say so directly and can point you towards appropriate support.
What makes this different from other coaching?⌄
A few things:
- It's specific to senior women at inflection points — not generic career coaching repackaged.
- It's pragmatic, not theoretical — we work with your actual situation, politics, and constraints.
- Every session has a clear output — you leave with something concrete, not just reflection.
- Menopause is a performance variable, not a taboo or the entire focus.
Do you work with organisations as well as individuals?⌄
Yes. Individual coaching is always completely confidential.
Organisational work — for companies wanting to retain and support senior women — can include group coaching, leadership workshops, or advisory input on policies and culture. Find out more about Victoria or get in touch via the scorecard.
What happens on the free intro call?⌄
It's a genuine 30-minute conversation — not a sales pitch.
We'll talk through what's happening right now, what you want next, and where the pressure is coming from. You'll leave with at least one practical thing to think about or do. If it feels like a good fit, we'll talk about support options. If it doesn't, that's fine too — no pressure either way.
How do sessions work?⌄
Sessions are 60 minutes, online via Zoom or Teams, and scheduled at a time that works for you.
Before each session, I'll send a short prompt to help you arrive with clarity on what matters most that week. After, you'll have clear agreed actions. Between sessions — depending on your programme — I'm available for brief check-ins by message.
How quickly will I notice a difference?⌄
Most people feel a tangible shift in clarity and direction after the first session — just having a proper space to think clearly, without juggling ten other things, makes a real difference.
Sustainable change — the kind that sticks when you're under pressure — comes from consistently following through on what we agree. That usually becomes visible within 3–6 weeks.
What if I'm not sure what I need yet?⌄
That's completely normal — and actually a good starting point. "I know something isn't working but I can't name it" is one of the most common things people say on the first call.
You could start with the 3-minute scorecard to identify where the pressure is coming from. Or just book a call via the scorecard and we'll work it out together.
Do you help with promotion or senior role applications?⌄
Yes — this is core to the work. Specifically:
- Building a credible leadership narrative that lands in senior conversations
- Positioning yourself as the obvious choice, not just a capable candidate
- Preparing for high-stakes interviews and board-level discussions
- Navigating internal politics around promotion decisions
Can you help after redundancy?⌄
Yes — and this is one of the most common reasons people get in touch.
Redundancy at a senior level is a particular kind of shock — especially when you've been high-performing. We work on rebuilding a clear, confident narrative from what feels like wreckage, and on identifying the right next move (rather than just the fastest one).
What if I want to change sector or go independent?⌄
Both are very workable. The key is translating your experience clearly — making your track record land in a different context, or building credibility as an independent without underselling yourself.
We'll map out what you're actually offering, who needs it, and how to position it in a way that opens doors.
How much does it cost?⌄
The free intro call costs nothing.
Beyond that:
- Career Clarity Programme (4 sessions over 4–6 weeks): £600–£900
- Career Progression Programme (8 sessions over 3 months): £1,400–£2,000
The range reflects the level of between-session support and the complexity of what we're working on. We'll agree the right option on the intro call.
Can my employer pay for coaching?⌄
Yes — many clients are funded by their employer, particularly at Director level and above. I can provide an invoice and supporting information for L&D or HR approval if needed.
The coaching itself always remains confidential — your employer doesn't receive updates, notes, or progress reports.
Is everything confidential?⌄
Yes — completely. What you share in sessions stays in sessions.
If your employer is funding the coaching, they are not entitled to any information about what we discuss. The only exception would be if there were a serious safeguarding concern — which I would discuss with you directly first.
Where are sessions held?⌄
All sessions are online — Zoom or Teams, whichever you prefer. This makes it easy to fit around a senior schedule and means location is never a barrier.
